What data we collect

When you sign up, we collect your email address and display name. When you use the app, we store the tasks you create, your energy-level selections, session outcomes, and active-day counts. If you subscribe, Gumroad processes your payment — we never see your card number.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to provide the StartPop service — showing you tasks, matching them to your energy, tracking your progress, and managing your subscription. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing.

Where your data lives

All data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS). Gumroad handles payment data under their own privacy policy. Both services use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.

Cookies and tracking

StartPop uses only essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We do not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or third-party tracking pixels.

• Gumroad — subscription billing
• Google — optional sign-in provider

Each service processes data under their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum information needed to provide the service.

Your rights

You can request a full export or deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes all your tasks, sessions, and profile data.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed within 30 days. We may retain anonymized, aggregated data (e.g., total active days across users) that cannot identify you individually.

Children's privacy

StartPop is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you via email for any material changes. Continued use of StartPop after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
